I tried popping it myself after about 3 days. It wasn't too painful but white sort of puss came out. It wasn't really thick, maybe in between. It doesnt really hurt either until I noticed today it was slightly uncomfortable and I sat because my pants were pushing onto the blister (already popped) it went down a lot and today a little more puss came out. It's | `() | <<the little apostrophe is where it's located. It wasn't red at first but it's a little red now maybe because it's healing? Like a normal blister. Is it herpes??
Herpes blisters don't contain thick pus, but rather a watery liquid. Once ulcerated, pus may form in the sore, but not the squeezable type.
So it doesn't sound like a herpes blister?
No, it sounds more like a pimple. If it were herpes, it would also ulcerate and pit now that it's been broken open.
