I have been struggling with problems after I had my gallbladder removed in 2013. I have been limited sometimes on things I can and cannot eat so I have had to adjust my diet. Recently I have been having problems with horrible bloating, gas diarrhea /constipation. There are days I can’t even eat because I am scared of the bloating and the pain it will cause.
My G I doctor has put me on a acid reducer, probiotic and a fiber pill. I have increased my water intake as well. I recently had a Hydrogen breathing test/SIBO test and found out that I have to much bad bacterial overgrowth in my small intestints. So I have to take a specialized antibiotic for the rest of my life and change my diet drastically. I’m also scheduled to have a special MRI to see if I have gall stone, which can still occur after you have your gallbladder removed. Hopefully this helps someone out there having the same issues. I’ll update about the MRI results.
I believe you have a stone obstruction. This happened to me after my gall was removed. About 2 months. They took an ct scan with contrast to find it. I was admitted soon after. Had an ERCP. Removed stone and I was 100% better. Hope they find an answer for you. Good Luck and eat and stay healthy.

i cant believe you just described whats going on with me. i have gallbadder out 2 years ago. last may 2019 severe bloating like pregnant gained 8 pounds stomach. always a pain on side and burning sensations. i have had so many tests ! tested 2x for sibo. on meds 7 day 1st time 10 days 2nd. im at my wits end with dr and coming close to 1 year like this its horrible. no answers wants me to see a rhuematogists why no clue .
this actually started when i was on a diff med for hbp these symptims started pills end uo on recall .. curious to hear your outcome . my dr no clue so will see someone new soon

this is my life, minus diarrhea, well sometimes but its so depressing, i would have this gas in my body for days and cant release, then i get breathing issues and am dealing with acid reflux and its very bad to the point where it goes in my ears and comes up in my mouth, its annoying i feel the reflux is damaging my throat, i was even having swallowing issues, am on acid reflux meds but the swallowing issues is gone, only issues now is the side affects and when i dont take it like miss a dose my acid reflux is 10 times worst i just feel like the meds either hasnt kick in or not working
