A pea-size (or smaller) lump on my penile shaft. Is treatment necessary?

Hi, I'm 20-year-old male I had it a week before September, I noticed the lump after I masturbated and since I thought this was a bug bite, I simply applied cream on it. However, it went on for a week and the other day this week , I pulled a puss on a single pore in the affected area of the shaft which seems like a blocked oil (it's in the reddish part of the lump). The lump itself doesn't itch, but the affected pore is a bit itchy but I left it alone. Should I be worried? I shaved my pubes today to make sure it won't be irritated further and discontinued the use of cream as well. What do you guys think this is?๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

You have two things going on together here - you likely have a Penile Cyst - this is most often linked to masturbation or some form of manual penile enlargement.
Cysts are harmless and form a pea-sized bump under the skin, often they are soft and can be pushed into the main body of the penis.
You also have an infection in the same area - use liquid antiseptic to sort this - dab a tiny bit undiluted from the tip of a finger 3 to 4 times a day and it should heal within 4 or 5 days
The cyst itself will fade slowly in time - do not irritate it as this will make it larger, they can take many months to fade away to become unnoticeable

oh thanks for confirming, someone said the same to me and also, the itchy area (the blocked pore) was gone but the lump itself remains in the same small size.. also, i was advised too to take hot bath and apply some hot compress to the cyst for a couple minutes,

I wanna confirm again if itโ€™s safe, thank you

Never used a compress so cannot comment - I had a cyst a few years ago and it took the best part of 8 or 9 months to fade to being unnoticeable - I just let it heal naturally.
Never expose your genitals to really hot water, even water that is not too hot for the rest of your body can damage the more sensitive penile skin
