If you think you have conjunctivitis (red/pink eye, goopy discharge, scratchy feeling…) you should seek medical care as soon as possible. Because you’re experiencing “flickering vision” I’d recommend you see an optometrist/ophthalmologist for a complete eye exam. Flickering lights, floaters, etc. are usually a symptoms of the vitreous fluid separating itself from the retina (happens to all of us as we age and most of the time we don’t even notice anything).
