A seeming mystery-caused, ongoing hand pain? Anyone who can help?

In particluar, this is a problem my girlfriend has been having for some time now, not just a few months... I'm worried, and hope I can find something that may at least identify it!

She's been to doctors, and so far... this does not line up with anything, so it can't be taken care of.

ie: This does not appear to be carpal tunnel, arthritis, and such well-known issues.

The symptoms are (as I understand it):

-Pain in her hands (constant, all times)

-The pain worsens with use (the longer, the worse)

-The pain also worsens with heat (either from use, or externally, such as just holding hands!) [This may be the actual cause, I wonder? Since use builds heat naturally...]

When her hands are cooler, they hurt less, but the pain isn't gone.

She can use her hands just fine, as far as I know, just doing so will make it hurt more. (for example: even if not for her pain, I'm sure I'd lose an arm wrestle)

I'm not immediately sure what medications she is taking to help with this, and I don't know how well they are working, but I can tell it's not nearly enough.

If anyone has any insights, please let me know!

I've already posted everything I know right now... so I don't think I can reply much... but thank you if you can help shed some light on this!

From a guy who wishes he could even hold the hand of the girl he loves without it hurting her...

Could it be repetitive strain injury?

"could"? Dunno, but I rather doubt it. She loves animals (has dogs, lizards, snakes...), and is an artist, but as best I know that's not the case.

Not that I would be able to tell, myself.

But I do assume that her doctor visits would have already checked anything like that and that they would have identified any injuries... right?

I think physiotherapy is the best solution for muscle relavent pain.Otherwise you could go for Soma Tablet.
