Hi, I was shooting ball one day and got kneed in my hip pretty bad....A week later while pain was still subsiding I shot ball again, a day later I felt a slight burning discomfort the size of a dollar coin on my right side, lower stomach or groin area. The burn would increase gradually from a slow burn to an intense fire. And all last night as I try to move or roll over in bed, the more I move, the more it burns. This morning I jumped out of bed and stared getting so dizzy, I thought I was gonna pass out. I sat down fighting it and started pouring sweat. After about 5-10 mins, the dizziness and the pain left. Now it just burns depending on how I move... I was wondering if it was hernia, appendicitis or just a very bad pulled muscle....Please help me, and thank you all so very much for everybody's thoughts
A burning sensation could be a nerve injury. I have had this in my shoulder and it travels down my shoulder blade. I have also had this with a minor graze on my knee. If you get up too quickly, you can get a dizzy spell. If you develop a hernia, you would have a swelling as well as the pain. It sounds like an injury to me. Sometimes muscle strains can take up to eight weeks to clear up.
