Not sleeping so went to gps to try get something to help which I got
hubby dropped me off and set myself the task to walk home!
Set off and 40 mins later managed to make it to a little supermarket with cafe!!! Ouch!!! It's only a 4 minute ride in the car!
Also my scar still isn't healed!! Had it redressed yesterday to leave on until tomorrow, had to remove tonight green horrible mess behind the dressing. Hubby has checked it and re dressed for tonight as have appointment in the morning.
anyone else had this problem? It's a 1" part of scar that's not closed yet, looks yucky!
That happened to my mum as got infection which she had antibiotics for. It wont heal up with infection. Dont try and do too much too soon. Think im paying price of trying. Laid here with hot water bottles What did dr say about sleeping. Im struggling to fall asleep too x
Hey there, she just looked at why I've tried in the past and prescribed me something just a few to try get a sleeping pattern back!
Didn't have the problem with my scar.I had my staples out 8 days after and i didn't want to look at it afterwards.When i did i was really amazed at how healed it looked just within that time.Your scar does seem infected.I have had trouble sleeping.I didn't want hrt because i felt so well.I gave in at about 6 weeks as i was watching the clock most hrs.Was hiven patches but they didn't stick very well.I have now been given 3 months supply of hrt tablets and a weeks supply of sleeping tablets.They are very mild but i do sleep better but still wake up a couple of times.Don't seem to be getting the hot flushes at night but i am not sure if it is because of the hrt working or because the sleeping pills have worked.It will be interesting when i finish the sleeping pills.The problem then is i am meant to be going back to work next Mon.Good luck with your scar.

Been to see the nurse, she was happy with how we had cleaned the wound up. I took the honey dressing I'd been sent home from hospital with and she agreed that would be the best thing to put on right now! So this stays on now until Monday! However has sent us home with the kit of neede over the weekend to redress if required! Fingers crossed she doesn't think there's need for antibiotics!!!
I'm on Zopiclone but only 3.75mg. Glad you got on ok at the drs.
