Hi there,
My family is super Irish, so I'm covered head to toe in freckles and have been made aware of the danger zones or potential danger spots my entire life. On top of that, I've dealt with a variety of other health issues that have turned me into somewhat of a hypochondriac. So when I woke up a month ago with a brand new tiny freckle on my left palm, I panicked a little (actually I thought it was a speck of dirt for a day, until it just didn't go away). I sent pictures to my dermatologist and was assured that it was a normal spot but to keep a close eye on it over the next couple months. Needless to say I've been closely examining it every day since then, and I was ready to forget about it until yesterday when I compared it to the picture I took the first days I noticed it. It's gotten bigger and seems more ...filled in I guess. I've attached a comparison picture (top is most recent) as well as a farther away picture of it now.
I did email my dermatologist again, but she responded a few days later just to say that she was out of the office and unable to review my photos and to make an appointment with someone else if I was concerned. The problem is, I'm a senior in an out-of-state college and my insurance isn't accepted anywhere here. So I'm just a big ball of stress and was hoping someone might be able to help me out or relate in some way. I have an appointment for December, but I'm just worried since it's already grown this fast!
Thanks so much

Does it hurt when you press on it? If so I think its a wart. Lots of “over the counter” remedies which you can try so have a look in your local pharmacy.
Thanks for the response! It doesn’t hurt at all when pressed and it’s flat on my skin just like any other freckle.
