Abdominal pain for 5 months, what could it be?

Ok so I have been to the doctor about this 2 months ago and was suggested a CT scan as he didnt know what was causing pain. Well shortly after this I found out I am now pregnant so cannot do a CT. I have a follow up with my doctor next week but am curious if anyone has any ideas in the meantime.

Pain started early November 2020, maybe a little earlier even. Hasn’t really gotten any worse, maybe a little more frequently. I get pain that feels like gnawing, twisting, burning/cramping feeling dead center in my stomach(right at and around belly button). At first.. I thought it felt like extreme hunger pains but eating didn’t always help. Pain isn’t severe but enough sometimes that I need to lay down. Also, it seems that when pain occurs and I am holding my 2 yr old that the pain worsens a little. I only started keeping a food diary Tuesday. so far it just seems so random when it happens. I never seen to wake up with it. Normally starts later after eaten. It doesn’t happen everytime I eat though. It’s not constant, some days are worse though. Some days it doesn’t hurt at all. I have no other symptoms.. no GI issues. Only things I have right now beside that are obvious pregnancy symptoms that started right when I got my positive test.

With work, life and pregnancy I just had been ignoring it but I’m ready to figure it out and not deal with it anymore. I have thought of gluten allergy or stomach ulcers.. nothing ever seems to match entirely though. I am otherwise healthy, 32 yrs old. Also, just to mention I had a colonoscopy done 2 yrs ago(for unrelated issue) and was clear. I hope that since it’s been 5 months and never worsened that it isn’t anything to serious. I know abdominal pain is so very vague and hard to find a cause for especially when it’s the only symptom. I am hoping maybe to get some ideas to ask doctor about or research myself. Any suggestions are welcome!!

Have you looked into acid reflux and gastritis? GERD? Some of the symptoms of acid reflux can be very confusing. For instance, my acid reflux causes no heartburn but did cause pain. Hiatal Hernia is another possibility. You should go in for a scope. H. Pylori is also a possibility. You can do a CT scan but it may not reveal much. Do an EGD if possible, since it sounds like its coming from your stomach, and have them do a biopsy for H.Pylori too. Though you’ll likely have to wait until after your pregnancy. Pay attention to your stools too. Dark stools that look like coffee or any sign for bright red blood may indicate internal bleeding(from an ulcer potentially).

could be gastritis or crohns. crohns an affect the stomach and/or the bowels…
