Abnormal glans - help!

Previously I have suffered from phimosis, however this since has resolved, via the use of steroid creams. Since then i presume I am a sufferer of balanitis - as the head of me penis is often blotchy, though there is no discomfort. However last week I noticed a small ulcer like thing on the head of my penis, while bathing the skin came off and left a red sore - nevertheless still no discomfort at all, unless directly sprayed in the shower - even then this was minimal.

I went to the doctor and showed him the first two picitures that i will provide with this post, he said it was simply a 'graze', and gave me more steroid cream, this time with anti-fungal and bacterial properties. I didn't trust his judgement and didn't use the cream, though taking it on prescription, as i had already used it for a substantial amount of time prior to that to cure my phimosis - and the use of these creams over a long period of time can have many concequences.

After that i went into hygene overload to keep it as clean as possible, washing maybe 4/5 times a day. however i awoke this morning to find a slightly different red patch on my glans, not ulcur like as the other was. This is the 3rd picture i'll provide.

If anyone knows what this is and some possible adivce that would be good, take into consideration i have already visited a doctor. also appoligies for any spelling/gramatical mistakes i am in a rush!

thanks

I had something similar once. It was improved with anti-fungal cream.

Looks like balanitis to me.  Are you sure you were prescribed a steroid cream, and not just an anti-fungal cream?

"Hygiene overload" may make the problem worse btw (and antibiotics can also cause balanitis).  Washing once a day and after sex or masturbation should be enough.  Just use water to wash down there, or if you use soap or shower gel, make sure that it's all washed off.  Canesten cream may also help.
