ABout HSV2

First question:

Is it true that if s person has contracted the virus when were kid and never had an outbreak and haven’t passed it to anyone so far that this person is likely to be one of those persons who doesn’t shed the virus like others? And why?

Second question:

Even 4 or 5 months after infection can Igm still be active?

Third question:

If a person has low IgG with like 50 days, with 4 or 5 months igg probably will be lower or higher if the infection is new? Because I read that igg levels tend to stay balanced after like 20 days after the infection, right? And I heard doctors say that numbers don’t matter, so that’s why i’m confused.

Thanks

I’m sorry, I meant to say HSV1, not 2

1. Probably. 2. Yes, igm can be produced whenever the virus is active, not just during the first outbreak, plus the test cross-reacts with other antibodies, so it's not reliable generally. 3. Should get higher. Full antibody production is reached around 3-4 months post-infection.
