Well it's 6 months in a few days since I started rivaroxaban for my bilateral PE"s
Just wondered how anyone has been since coming off medication.
I'm expecting a blood test to see if it's genetics and I need to go back on the drug.
It feels like a big step as I worry when I've forgotten one and hear so many stories regarding repeat PE"s
I had no problem coming off Rivaroxaban with no withdrawal symptoms, but was back on it after 2 months as had a further PE and was put on it for life, but nose bleeds for 3/4 of an hour every 5 days meant a change of tablets, so now on Apixaban. Hope all goes well with you.
Are you having the test results before you come off the meds?
There are several facebook sites for DVT, PE, Thrombosis etc if you are interested, just google, also Thrombosis UK is helpful.

No you can't have the blood test whilst taking blood thinners you have to stop taking them first
