Aches and pains

Hi do any of you ladies have aching joints and back pain in peri menopause along with lots of other symptoms it seems like something new to deal with everyday 😔

If your close to a pool I would do a water fitness class OR even laps with a kickboard.   Being in the water has helped me.    Look up the benefits of drinking a lot of water-- claims of lubricating the joints.

ACV could help too..  many claim that it has helped with arthritis.

Yes. I was an athlete when I was younger so I have the achy joints. Prayer, drinking water, and putting turmeric(its a anti inflammatory)helps me out

Hi nanette44686

I have been getting terrible aching joints & back pain & put it down to mattress even to the point of going to buy a new one , but I'm now starting to think it's all part of menopause as I too have loads of other symptoms ? Went to dr to see about HRT & came away with sertraline ! I'm now even more confused 😬But I've found I'm taking lots of hot baths and it's helped a little with pains , but like you it's just one thing after another 😔

Hi Nikki thanks for replying I know exactly what you mean I have just had a hot bath and it does help I am not taking anything at the moment only supplements like menopace trying to ride it out but it is so hard these symptoms everyday really grind you down especially when you are working and looking after your family and home most of the time I feel exhausted and wonder what is going to pop up the next day it is comforting to know other ladies are going through this menopause hell 😩😐xx

Hi Nanette,

I just wanted to say that I suffer with lower back pain, neck pain(not too often but getting worse), and pains in my fingers and toes. I noticed I get themduring ovulation and before my period. Today my back is very sore. All my symptoms started 2 and a half years ago when I came off birth control. I was 33 and thought my body would adjust. Sadly, it has just gotten worse.I never knew about peri. My doctor says I have bad pms, another doctor says anxiety, another says chronic fatigue syndrome..... personally I believe its all hormone related. Its the unkown of not knowing what will happen next. Its a horrible time. Every day is a struggle. I wish there were more stories of making it through the other side.

Hi Deirdre

Thanks for replying yeah it would help to know there is s light at the end of the tunnel it really is s hard time especially when you have to work and look after your family some days my back aches all the time and my legs and feel so tired most of the time I'm still having periods but have missed two earlier this year so I know its peri menopause sending hugs 😊
