hello i posted previously on here asking whether it looked like i had herpes and yesterday i was diagnosed. they have given me aciclovir 400mg to take 3x daily for 5 days. i have taken 3 however the herpes has got worse, i have new sores and its getting near impossible to walk and excrutiating to pee. a lymphnode in my groin has also flared up. i am also getting night sweats.
my doctor said i should start to feel better within 24 hours (its been about 18 hours since i took the first tablet)
should i call the clinic incase something bad is happening? or just wait it out? please help im very scared
how were you diagnosed? did they swab the area?
she could tell just from looking and the fact i developed a fever - they also did a culture in the lab which took about 20 minutes. theyve sent off a swab aswell though so i can know which type it is
