Hey, so Saturday night, after two glasses of chocolate milk, I started producing a significant amount of saliva and I swallowed, like usual, but I began to also feel like I am swallowing air bubbles when I do so. It’s not the first time I’ve done this and I thought it would go away on its own once I stopped being aware of it, but it remained after several hours.
(On an unrelated note, got diarrhea within those hours.)
It’s currently been more than 8 hours since I’ve first become aware of the fact that I’ve been swallowing air bubbles with my saliva and I’ve swallowed quite a bit over these hours.
5 hours ago, when I first tried to go to sleep, I managed to do so only to abruptly wake up twice due to the amount of drool I was making. I only got two hours of sleep in before I started feeling something climb back up my throat, leaving a cool feeling. It’s not acid reflux, at least I don’t think so, because it’s not bitter and it doesn’t hurt. It is cold and I feel it every time I take a breath. It’s hard for me to sleep like this because it keeps happening when I lay down on my back and I keep producing saliva as well. I keep swallowing, bringing down what I feel are air bubbles. I’m assuming the liquid I feel climbing up my throat is also saliva, but I’m not sure.
It’s making me anxious and I feel very stressed that I’m not getting any rest. Help?
