Hi again everyone Its only been two days but since getting them I have been testing my urine and saliva.As I said its only been two days so I will need to use the test strips for longer to get a truer average which I can then tell my doctor about but for now my average is 5.75 and that is higher than it should be.
So can I ask whether any of you have used these strips and if you have were your readings as high as mine are.
Also can I ask whether taking both Lanso.. and Ranitidine could affect the results.

Hi yes I do have an NHS doctor.I hopeyou get on ok when you see your doctor on Monday because mine and it seems other doctors on here just want to palm you off with anxiety pills.As I am writing this I actually have an awful metalic taste in my mouth and smell in my nose andyou may find this hard to believe I am sure that both of them are making my eyes water as well.
With regard to thestrips if you Goggle them you will find a supplier although its doubtful whether you can get them in time for Monday now.

I have been using these strips for a while to test my saliva. I dont think that PPi's will have an effect on the readings.
I;m not sure what type you have - but a reading of 5,75 is a little on the acidic side. Mine say anything less than 6.5 is very acidic
Thanks MB the ones I am using tell me the same as yours. Its very worrying so I will have to go and see the doctor next week. Ted
