Hi, I was diagnosed with acid reflux when I had the camera inserted up my nose through the back of my mouth.
I have this really bad for 4 weeks now.
When I drink anything at all I start to gag. I did actually vomit once.
I can't take lansoprazole or Gaviscon advance without feeling the burning as it goes down my throat. I can't go to my choir or outside for fear it will start.
Any advice, please I'm desperate!!

It's very common with anxiety as well as reflux, you may find you also get a lump in the throat sensation, also very common

I often get the feeling of a lump in my throat, fortunately, I know it soon goes when I distract my attention away!
This reflux came on suddenly when I was at choir three weeks ago and it stayed with me since.
It really is distressing!
It is very distressing indeed, and feels so oppressive, sadly there's no quick fix for anxiety like this
