I've had globus for about a month now.. it came on after a bout of tonsillitis ans a course of Clarithromycin antibiotics. It did seem to improve for a brief while but has come back with a real vengeance. I now have a constant sore throat with the lump feeling My course of acid reflux meds has now finished so I'm not sure if I should ask the doctor if I should try continuing with some more or try something else?
I got to wondering whether or not acupuncture might help. I emailed a local acupuncturist who recognised the condition and said it is possible to try and treat it with acupuncture and a combination of anxiety/diet changes. Has anybody else tried acupuncture to treat globus and if so, has it helped?
Really getting desperate here
