hi. my daughter has been told this is what she has. But she gets sooo sick , she has to get to a bed and just lay a certain way. She always calls her sister to come over b/c she thinks shes dying. it takes about a day for her to recoup from this. Now, I know you can lie down with your head hanging over and try to get the crystals back where they belong in the inner ear....I THINK. but it didnt work. They gave her medicine but she said it doent help. I think its antivert. well, hope your mom is well now. ive been dizzy for weeks before and it is terrible.

Hi, my mother is suffering from this disease. Now she is losing her hearing capacity and sometimes, feeling pressure in the ear. She is planning to undergo treatment at an acupuncture treatment center in Mississauga( http://dynamicphysiotherapy.ca/services/acupuncture/ ). But she is concerned about the procedures, heard that this treatment uses a kind of needle. Will this procedure hurt?
I get Menieres attacks but not too frequently now. I do have tinnitus that, at times, is intolerable.
Have you found that acupuncture helps for tinnitus also?

first, ask to acupuncturist ...how long does it takes for meniere desease with acupuncture treatment?
If the answer is one or two times of treatment, then he or she knows the treatment.
If the answer is one month or longer....they don't know how to cure.

tinnitus also can be cure with acupuncture, but its vary... which means sometime it's cure at one time of acupuncture treatment, sometimes it's not.
