I am 50 years old. I have acute abdominal pain shortly after a meal, especially when eaten too much too quickly with two bowls of soup. What might be my problem and what can I change in my eating habits to help alleviate the problem, aside from taking medication? Thanks so much!!!!
I would start with a food/symptom diary to see if you can identify any food triggers. If a pattern emerges, you will be able to adjust your diet. Eat little but often. How long have you had these symptoms? If you have had them longer than a week, see your doctor for tests, diagnosis and treatment.
Hi! I could share my experience. Had same thing from June 2014 to August 2016. My triggers were dairy products, corn, beans, sodas, etc. I had colonoscopy and endoscopy after which I was diagnosed with IBS. Now, let me tell you that perhaps it could be also your stomach or pancreatic enzymes. Do you have watery stools, fatty, and do you have any pains in the left side?
