Hi all,

I’ve had chrons for years ago after being miss diognoises on several times, I started this drug 2 November 2018 with oxaliplatin due to bowl swollen and knitting together, I stopped chemo beggining of May and went to 40mg of Adalimumab my scalp, face and body has blistered I live on antihistamines I was with baby shampoo I’m prone to infection I’ve never had so much antibiotics. Every time I eat I get pain, I feel sick in the morning and have to get up at least hour and half before I leave the house to avoid accidents my joints ache do other people have same problems? I try to help my self I am up early for the loo, I’ve even ate jars of pickled jalopenos for 2 weeks waiting for help to go to the loo. Mri was Monday awaiting a result but symptoms look as though chrons has spread to organs please please any advice I’m early 30’s?

i was on adalimumab worked well for about 6 years. It stopped working and i ended up having surger. currently on ustekinumab and doing well. When i was not n adalimumab i use eat a pear every night and drink fybogel everynight. This use help me go in the morning. I only ever ate soft fibre fruit and veg which moved along more easily. I hope it helps, worth speaking to the doctor if you’re not feeling any better.

I wouldn’t be eating Jalapeños if I were you, they’re very irritating to the digestive system, if you have trouble having a bowel movement try “Smooth Move” tea, most markets in the states have it and it’s very gentle and won’t make you run to the loo like most laxatives. Hope it helps. Cheers!
