Hello all, just wanted to talk a little about my surgery. I had to have surgery Thursday because my adhesions ( Which is scare tissue from other surgeries) had rapped itself around my intestines. All this was related to a mesh that was put inside my abdomen because I had a hernia. Well a year later that mesh came apart so they had to go back in and repair it. Well a year after that I developed a groin hernia. A year and some months later I coughed one evening and felt a pain on my left side a little above the hernia by the groin. Well I was a little concerned, because I felt a hard lump, so the next day I went to the urgent care office down the street. They told me it was another hernia and wanted to operate on it. I told them no, because I was a veteran and would have the Veteran Hospital do it. ( Free )
I am happy to say the, VA took care of me by doing a exploration piece, meaning they had to go inside my abdomen to see what was happening. It took them 45 extra minutes to get all of the scar tissue off of my intestines then they repaired my groin hernia. I feel a lot better.
