Adjustment anxiety??

Hi,

I need advise on understanding my situation.

I first experienced mild anxiety when I was 13 yrs old , my doctor back then prescribed antidepressants and I was fine within a week.

From then on , I experienced anxiety whenever I am in stressful situation, like during exams

I am fine most of the time but I observed my anxiety kicks in when I am out of my comfort zone.

Like new job, getting married and so on...

My anxiety is becoming so bad that , it is destroying me in so many ways.

It affected- affecting me in so many ways...

I am 29 year old and I am have been to so many psychiatrist these past 10+years.

Over the years, I was diagnosed with so mental illness ( cyclothymia, depression, bi polar- even though I never showed manic symptoms)

Every doctor negated what other said so I am in a situation where I don't know what exactly is wrong with me...

And it is so scary sometime....

Currently I am on Zoloft 50 mg , it's my 5th day ....even though I have high level side effects, I want to give it a try.

My question is ;

1) as I mentioned above, do I have adjustment anxiety and nothing else?? Because apart from anxiety and chronic worry I don't have much of issues??

2) my current GP asked me to take clonezpam when I feel anxious , because Zoloft is causing me too much anxiety. She asked me to take until I get used to this new drug.

I am scared that , leaving clonezpam suddenly will cause withdrawal ( again anxiety) ...

3) my doctor think, since I was diagnosed late, it will take a while to cure my anxiety or it might be for life ...is it true?!

4) is there any proactive steps to avoid anxiety in the first place ?? ( I do exercise regularly, also breathing exercises) what else can I do to avoid anxiety in future??

I don't know your situation as well as you so of course I might be wrong but getting stressed while getting married or during exams etc is absolutely normal, nothing to worry about - don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you don't suffer anxiety

..and I do not think your anxiety might be for life, it isn't possible as long as you want to help yourself

try to think about it, aren't you exaggerating it a little?

I know , getting stressed is pretty normal during such circumstances.

But the intensity of my anxiety is something which is more than normal, well that's what I feel sometime.

When I get anxiety, I can't eat, sleep, function like I used to do.

Physically also I suffer so much ...I go to pee more often, frequent bowel movement, headache, chest pain, choking sensation.

Sometime anxiety is too much, I can't feel my tongue, I get dizzy

My problem is when anxiety start due to certain reasons, it doesn't stop...no matter what I do, I feel so out of control

I understand, sorry if my reply made you feel bad.
