adult Circumcision

hi. im 65 years of age, I’m insulin dependent diabetic who injects twice daily. and I had a circumcision performed on me 8 years ago. however, there is still pain in it at or around the corona area on the right side which becomes more prounced during an erection. also when I climax, I dont feel the semen coming out but I do feel all the normal feelings before ejaculation. I’ve learned to live with it but it would be nice ti have rid of it. cheers kevin..

Hello Tom, I am sorry you have had this experience. I take it you had the circumcision at a UK NHS Urology department at a General Hospital, or was a private service?
I am 62 YOA and I have been dealing with a number of penile issues the whole of my adult life. So, I mention the possibility of going back to where the Circumcision was carried out. There are also likely to be a number of dedicated internet Forums specifically for men who have had circumcision in adulthood that you could do a search for (e.g Adult Circumcision - Associated problems - Diabetes).
Essentially what you have will be due to the circumcision and this includes the sensation of pain (and this can be a difficult issue in itself, to both understand and circumnavigate) and a loss of the natural feelings such as at the point of ejaculation.
I think the only thing that can address this is to re-establish a healthy a state as possible in your penis. Other cultures do this quite naturally and see it as a process of re-establishing a natural state, and most of these use massage and working at a sense of ‘well-being’ within the genital region. I use this frequently, it has nothing to do with masturbation, or as others may crudely say ‘playing with myself’. This is about using a sense of warmth and using simply movement and massage to invigorate both blood flow, and in the long-term, re-establish the natural senses that have been damaged by the process of circumcision.
Many women are good at having ‘me time’ where they may simply massage tired legs and feet after a day working where they are standing up a great deal of the time, for example. We men are not so good at this.
This is something I had to learn about and benefit from due to several penile conditions, so that my penis could function sexually in a near normal manner.
It is simple too, all you need is the right frame of mind, be relaxed about it - take a warm shower and get a bottle of Liquid Coconut Oil and start the process of learning about movement and massage involving your penis in a gentle, but deliberate manner. As I say, do not confuse this with masturbation, that is not what it is about: the principle is about encouraging blood flow, and if this is dome gently and regularly enough that can play a role in re-establishing natural feelings and perhaps alleviating the sensation of pain at the same time.
