Hi there...i feel like inside my mouth is so dry and my throat too l, that I can barely swallow and when I do I feels numb...has anybody had this...i feel dizzey too....
Ps: My doctor put my dosage up onto 40 mg of prozac yesterday so I took them last night before bed and she I woke up that's when I had the feeling...but my mouth was a little bit dry before so I don't know. I need some advice ..uts not a nice feeling...a little scary xx

I hv been on Effexor for 14 yrs. I just got a RX of citalopram. I feel like the Effexor is not working so my dr think citalopram might be a better help. What is your problem with it?
Yes, not with every attack but with the one this past week my mouth was extremely dry. Drink lots of water.
Dry mouth and throat must be a common side effect of some drugs. i have it very badly and need water with me all the time, and chewing gum and mints. They all help. Best of luck to you.
