Advise please / palpitations when I don’t feel anxious

Hi everyone,

Last week was horrendous for me. My anxiety was through the roof I was under so much pressure at work and it really got to me, eventually I ended up at a&e at my local hospital because my palpitations got so bad.

I felt a lot calmer after the weekend and going back to work on Monday, I haven’t felt at all bad as last week get the odd shooting pain hot flash but I don’t take too much notice of it. But the palpitations are what I cannot bare! I don’t feel anxious but I’m still having them had 3 EKGS and all come back normal I have been referred to cardiologist but my dr is not worried, had endless amounts of blood work all came back normal. can you really have palpitations for anxiety when your not feeling anxious? It’s weird

Yes ya can cos I stil do xx

Exactly my question. I get palpitations all of the time even when I’m not anxious. I’ve been to the ER 4 times and 2 cardiologists in the last 4 months. My main worry are the palpitations that feel like my heart is fluttering and spazzing out

Apart from my anxiety, I also sometimes get them from certain foods, see if you can spot anything in your diet that could be a trigger. Soda/fizzy drinks are generally terrible for me, but kombucha helps me belch and seems to prevent them which is odd.
