3 weeks ago I had strep throat really bad, I had it for two weeks. I had a bunch of white puss in the back of my throat and tonsils. I went to the doctors and he looked at my throat and prescribed me antibiotics. Well it went away and I felt good. Now I'm starting to have pain again while swallowing but no white puss. I'm afraid I have throat cancer because I do have these very small red dots on the roof of my mouths, not bumpy at all but I googled throat cancer symptoms and it could be a sign of throat cancer. I'm 26 years old, I have been smoking since I was 18, i dont drink or do drugs. My gf does say I sleep with my mouth open but I'm very afraid its something much worse.
I literally have the same issue...yesterday I felt like there was something in my throat and stuck my finger back there and popped out this off white stone looking thing...I freaked out and then was told it's just tonsil stones and it's not harmful just uncomfortable and that you can remove them yourself...take a light and shine it in your mouth and see If you can see anything
No I dont have anything back their but now the right side of my tongue is hurting me too!
Seeing as you’ve had strep throat so recently then it’s highly likely your problems are linked to this. It’s going to take time for your throat to recover and there is always the chance that the infection may not have fully cleared up. Just think that the obvious cause is more likely rather than the most unlikely!
