Please help. I have had both eyes operated on, new glasses, varifocal. But my glasses are making me dizzy. As I sit at the table the table looks to be falling away. Optician says it is my brain that needs re training.
Why do you need varifocal ?
i have had some double vision in my right eye since march they claim that itwill go away. i am sick and tired of them thinking i am a joke so i am going to get some legal advise. i can see outof both my eyes no more wearing glas
ses she says my eye sight is perfect and that my double vision will go away. i only have thisproblem in the morning for a very few moments and sometimes at night when i get tired in february i had my left eye done no problem i told them that i think they think i am a joke and playing games with me so i have decided to get some legal help what do you all think i should do i am sickand tire of their bull.
Optician prescribed them. I can see far away but not at all near without glasses. With glasses on everything not level. Optician says my brain will take a while to accept this.
After my cataract operations I only need reading glasses although optician also suggested a second pair or bifocals for compter mid distance use.
Opticians always want to prescribe them as they are expensive.
Your glasses are the wrong prescription AND they have used cheap quality plastic with the varifocal. Go back to the shop again and they will rectify - it is not your brain, happened to my friend who had been happily wearing varifocals for years, they tried that story with her - outcome - they changed them and gave her the quality plastic of her old glasses and she had no problems after that.
