After 9 months Bilateral inguinal hernia surgery

Hi

I feel some sort of pain after 9 months of bilateral inguinal hernia open surgery?

Summary

My right inguinal hernia bulge was larger than left one according to surgeon .

So I decided to operate both sides rather there was no pain before surgery on left side .

The mesh has been used in the surgery .

I went through to the surgery inorder to hope that i will resume my activities like carrying weight around 10 to 20 kg as I’m driving a cab , so sometimes grab the bags of passengers and keep it in the trunk of my car.

But my surgeon says not to pick the weight above 5 kg and avoid strenuous activities including waking and driving .

I’m upset now because I went through to this surgery in order to resume my activities in the future .

I also have guts problem , sometime bloating , sometime constipation.

Surgeon says your hernia is intact but you avoid normal routine activities. It is really upsetting situation because it affects on my work . I went through CT scan its report mentiong that no hernia recurrence.

Please suggest what can I do in order to get in normal life

Was the decision of mine to operate simultaneously wrong of both sides o inguinal region ?

Please suggest what to do to get back in normal daily activities or it is life time handicap situation
