I've been through chronic testicular pain, basically it's the tube from the testicle to the the base of the penis. Dull pain (best descriped as a constant pressure).
Ultrasound, prostrate and GUM clinic cleared. Had anti-biotics which seems to have cleared the tube (constant pressure issue), but the base of the penis and the testicle is still sore after several weeks.
Got a doctors appointment soon but unsure how to explain as it comes and goes. Pain tends to be when I'm stationary, driving is the worst.
Does any-one know of any-issues with the base of the penis?
Unfortunately trickyninja I know this pain only too well. Whether it has the same root cause I'm not sure. I've had my scrotum examined and there was evidence of hydroceles and epididymis. My consultant has asked me to come back in six months and said operating on this type of problem often does not offer relief. Like you any compression of the testes, particularly, sitting whilst driving is painful. My only relief is from standing or lying down. If you have any luck in finding a solution let me know.
Have you had a vasectomy? Well documented to be an issue with chronic pain and it's very common
I certainly did but 30 years ago!
Could well be PVPS. I have it and it's terrible.
PVPS can hit any time after the snip. Either immediately or months and years later
Peter, ask for an ultrasound - which is non intrusive and painless. Also 6 months is excessive, after 3months it is 'chronic'
Hi trickyninja I suffered from testicle pains for 8 months straight with no cure, no answers from tests, no answers from my teams of doctors across several departments including Urology, endocrinology, UCSD Moores Cancer Center and my Family Doctors, no pain meds or steroids including experimental drugs helped in the slightest bit. I was finally diagnosed with debilitating nerve pain and a hematoma also in the sac. First two surgeries included removal of the mass(hematoma), which had complications causing my left one to attach to the inner sac, thus causing my left inguinal orchiectomy. Pains got worse. Then I met Dr. Hsieh who is a sexual organ specialist of Urology. Had I met him in the beginning of this crap I would've only had one surgery instead of 3!!! My third surgery was the right inguinal orchiectomy. I donated the last one to science to help prevent other men from suffering as I did. Only difference is my penis never hurt and I did not have a vasectomy. One of my friends had Kidney failure after his vasectomy so keep a close watch. My surgeon offered to give advice to any one on this forum. Let me know and I'll give you his number...keep in mind he's here in the US. Hope this can help...

Alot of that doesn't make sense - I will have to google it 
Basically it means I lost both testicles. inguinal is the removal of the spermatic cords so that I don't get phantom pains like amputees get after the loss of a limb. This is a common occurance in men who lose one or both testicles. Luckily my surgeons informed me of this prior to the removal of the testicles only. This is very important. Of course I require testosterone treatments every six months but that is a hell of a lot better than the pains I had
Hi all, update.
I still have an issue down there. Antibiotics have resolved the tube pain. So driving isn't as much of a pain any more. Doc put me on strong anti-biotics, which have now finished.
I'm finding that touching the testi at a certain point is sensitive - suspect it's where the tube connects (now both - which indicates infection of some-sort). I'm also finding that I'm feeling some-thing not right toward the lower abdonimal to the left of the privates.
Any-one with any clues, please?

no op any-where near there, and I have no medical history with any-thing else..
Try to check for e.coli in your urine very often this is the cause of chronic pain in groin area but they highly resistant to antibiotics.

Update on this issue.
I've seen Urlogists (one was frustrated and she said I'm a surgeon, I cut and chop bits - that really helped!!!) which have confirmed they can't do any-thing.

A further update - which no-one will find helpfull.
The week before xmas I had the pain blocker injection. Unfortunatley due to me shouting the place down and un-controll-able shaking they stopped (wheel chair was pulled out after). It wasn't me stopping the injection but the nurses (they like chocolate by the way).
Don't get me wrong, I know other people have had this before me, still what's the actual answer?
Was it the spermatic cord block you had ?
I've had the injection twice into my left nut. Didn't help unfortunately. Over 4 years with post vasectomy pain. Even surgery didnt help.
