Several months ago I had cataract surgery on both eyes - I had new lenses put in under each eye. One eye is fine, but in the other eye I can see a small dark mark which looks like it could be a scratch or crack in the new lens that maybe could have happened during surgery. They eye surgeon keeps checking it, but says that there is nothing wrong with the lens. I waited 3 months then had him and also another doctor check it again and they both still say that the eye is perfect. It especially bothers me when driving in bright sunlight - the view is perfect except for the small dark lines or cracks in the center. Has anyone experienced this problem? A coworker of mine reported similar dark line or curve 3 months after surgery and they had him do YAG. It cleared after the YAG.

Since both your eye-surgeon and the other doctor say your eye and the lens are fine, could you ask for a referral say with a retina specialist for more tests? (just to be on the safe side)
