i am just over 3 months from hip replacement and am getting a serious pain from groin to knee so bad it hard to stand on it but only hurts when I sit down and get up again does any one else have similar problems

possibly iliopsoas tendinitis. not uncommon. i developed something similar but not exactly around 6 weeks after anterior approach. started with severe pain over femur upon standing and for first few steps and later progressing to severe groin throbbing as well as knee throbbing. i was put on rest, mobic, and had a steroid injection. the steroid injection was the confirmatory diagnosis. it eventually resolved but took months.

I experienced similar two years after a hip revision and it was cured by a half hour consultation with a chiropractor. Still feeling great!

I have had 3 surgeries on my left hip getting ready for a 4th. my body is rejecting them. sounds like a nerve or a muscle mine did that for about 6 months after.
