Hi all,
I’m a marathon runner who suffered a grade 1 tibial stress fracture from running too much. My Dr. put me in an aircast walking boot for a month and ive noticed when I take the boot off when im sitting on the couch my calf starts cramping and seizing up really bad! When it is in the boot this doesnt happen. Can anyone guess why? Is that the stress fracture im feeling that causes that cramping sensation?
My other question is that my doctor told me I have two more weeks left in my boot. My next race is a half marathon on October 5th. Do you think I could still run it if i run really easy and slow? Im still going to ask my doctor all these questions but I just dont want to keep bugging him with questions lol!
Thanks!
