All Kinds of Pains...Anxiety or an actual health problem?

Around 4 months ago I had my very first panic attack. After that day all I could think about was my health while dealing with left side chest pains that would last all day making me think something was wrong with my heart. I had a blood test and EKG/ECG done with fine results.

I'm 18 years old, exercise frequently and eating healthy. 2 months ago I felt like I had cured it, stopped having any sorts of pains or heat flashes, etc. I've never really been a stressful person so this was all new to me.

However for the last month symptoms have came back randomly except much different. I have all sorts of pains and feelings. Feeling every heartbeat, left shoulder pain, chest pain, left shoulder blade pain, a frog feeling in my throat, and a tingling sensation in my left ankle.

I have been to my school's wellness center and they said it's anxiety. I feel like my mind is fine now but everything physical is still here. Can it still be from my past anxiety? I feel like the physical problem came first which started the anxiety. Who should I seek for actual help, what should I do?

Any feedback or personal stories would be appreciated.

There are still times throughout the day where I feel completely fine, it comes and goes.

What caused your Anxiety in the first instance.

You mention you are eighteen years old, are you stressed in the first instance with the course you are on or has something happened  that you feel happened to cause Health Anxiety ?

Reading your Script sound like health Anxiety and you have taken advice from your School Wellness and they after taking in  the fact that all your test result came back negative. Your health is ok. You need to understand the fact the tests were undertaken by Hospital Technicians and they were checked by  a Specialist who give you your results, understand you are ok, so move on

Sometimes health concerns can be treated by a possible visit to a chemist who can advise many different cures that do not require a script from your GP. Generally Anxiety sufferers may find they lack confidence on  accepting  and understanding their health concerns, when generally most worries are simple to treat or some even are just just part old living, like getting a cold. You need confidence to treat yourself and not rush to a GP with with a scare story.

Most illnesses we suffer are not serious. Do you know the reasons  what brought about your Health Anxiety ?.

Hi Brian,

I am familiar with what you are going through as someone close to me has anxiety.

You can find out and learn more about anxiety and the symptoms yourself here

Hope this helps!

Not exactly sure, but think it was because I did not know alot about mental health after my first random panic attack and was scared about the future. Honestly at this point i feel like i don't have that same kind of anxiety anymore but the physical symptoms are piling on. Can all these feelings really be from anxiety? I am relaxed and have made an effort to do so but still having all these feelings.
