I've had a rash on my neck, arms and legs now for about 4-6weeks. I've seen a few different doctors, one giving me antibiotics as he said I had a skin infection, that evening I was taken to hospital as my eyes swelled badly, they said it was due to my infection. My eyes cleared up within a few days, every now and then the lids go a little swollen and red. But it's the rash, still here!!! Back to the doctors to then be told it's scabies!!!! I've had treatment and STILL no better. (I'm booked in to see a doctor tomorrow again!!) The rash on my body is so painful and so itchy, I try my hardest not to itch it. I can't sleep because of it either. It's burning and looks like I've been stung by nettles. It's getting way to much now and it's making me depressed. I've been applying steroid cream the doctors gave me, but I find that doesn't do much either!

Hi Vanessa, I have had the same. Told it was scabies, but my next door neighbour had same rash. Ive had mine for 4 weeks, he has his about same. I used scabies cream. no effect. ended up in A &E as cream burnt hands. Put me on strong antihistamins and steroid cream. It gets better then other rashes come up they. get dry and flakey when getting better
My neighbour was told it was poison ivy.This spreads by getting it on your hands and touching other parts of your body as it is sticky and once touched on other parts of body infects it. we share fences and mine came up after gardening. I dont think it is scabies as my husband has not got it we share the same bed.. I am going to insist on a blood test now . hope you get answers as this is a very painful and annoying rash. I have been looking things up on internet but there are so many rashes that look like mine. I have put pictures on of my rash .... is it similar. as quite interested in find out what mine is
