Almost positive this is HSV-2, any help would be appreciated. (Pics)

I acquired a new partner about two months ago. Maybe a month into having sexual intercourse I became aware of some vaginal cuts & I also became ill with fever, chills, muscle aches, and headaches. I was tested at the doctor via blood test and everything came back negative. I’m assuming it was just too early to diagnose me with herpes simplex virus 2. I am almost certain that I have herpes, and I’m looking for people who suffer also to help me come to a conclusion, as I am aware that positives can take a while (2-4 months) to show up after introduction to the virus.

I am currently being treated for a yeast infection and I am aware that vaginal ulcers can occur with this, however, I am also aware that this could very well be herpes and more than likely is. I will be making an appointment this week to be swabbed.

do the sores burn when you pee? is there any burning or itching?

Yes. The irritation started as a yeast infection and in turn caused me to scratch. Ultimately I did take a Diflucan pill, and the yeast symptoms subsided but there was a lingering irritation. Which is how I discovered the ulcer’s. The pain is not unbearable like most describe during OB but there’s slight stringing when wiping after urinating.
