Hi everyone, I'm wondering if any of you know of alternatives to olanzapine for the treatment of bipolar. I don't get very low lows and haven't had a manic episode in more than a year (although my last one was really bad and it was partly because I wasn't on any medication). I really struggle with the weight gain/insatiable appetite and was hoping I could switch to another form of medication...
Oh, and I'm just on 2.5mg of olanzapine and nothing else. I went from 55kgs to 65kgs...
Come off them slowly with drs support you will lose weight then.
