Alternative

Does anyone know of any alternative to zopiclone that you can get that works just as well so the doctors don't keep going on at me

I guess you have tried herbal remedies to help you sleep?  Valariean from health stores; Lavendar on your pillow and lavendar packs inside your pillow case.  I hear yoga can be helpful as can deep breathing excercises.  do not have a TV in your bedroom; or mess about with computers or tablets for at least two hours before bed.....the 'white light' can stop you sleeping.  Read a book til you feel tired. I used to have some very bad nights; but for some reason suddenly started sleeping really well. Hope you get some good nights soon; being tired is horrid....and of course gut pain will keep you awake.  My mother used to say eating some turkey at bedtime helped her sleep - and of course the hot milky drinks like Horlicks are meant to help aid sleep.

Hi Kelly I am a private yoga teacher and Bowen therapist and work with IBS patients often.  Most need to reduce stress, lifestyle change, diet change, exercise of the right variety, pacing yourself.  Good luck and do ask more if you'd like, Lisbeth
