Always new symptoms

Hi, I've suffered anxiety for almost 30 years although have had long periods where I've been able to cope not too bad. Suffering physical health problems at the moment which has brought back both the anxiety and a flare up of my fibromyalgia. I seem to suffer new symptoms almost daily and feel as if I am going mad (as well as so alone). I have back pain which is being investigated but now having muscle pain (prob fibromyalgia) twitching, unsettled stomach, pain and burning in various parts of body and to top it all off, breast pain. It seems too much to cope with all at once. I wrote on another discussion about being prescribed tramadol but being too scared to try them after reading side effects which included "when first taken tramadol can slow or stop your breathing"! Are there others suffering the same as me?

My anxiety isn't at its worst at the mo, but near enough the same symptoms, I don't take meds, tho, but tramadol is a very strong drug, I know some1 that takes them, have you looked for any natural remedies ??

Hello Jenifer I think if you suffer from health anxiety any true physical illness will bring this to the fore. Ie..you don't just take a cough with a head cold! Its probably lung cancer! I know .....it's happening to me right now! I'm trying to just get better from a chest infection without being overcome by anxiety. Not easy! I too have suffered all my life...well since I was 5 would you believe. The school nurse sent me into hysterics. Who knows why? I'm now 66 and won't go near a doctor! Keep reminding yourself that you've dealt with this or similar before. It's horrible for the duration but you will get better! Get well soon. E.

Take the tramadol they do relieve the pain these interteactions are one one 100,000 and quite possibly something else they were taking

fibromyalgia does make me feel as if in on fire it also upsets tummies causes depression sleeplessness fatigue fibromyalgia fog and generally makes you feel craps at least take some of the pain away

Hello Jenifer, I understand physical pain and have taken Tramadol in the past, thou now take Gaberpentin. Tramadol does help with pain thou you must eat something with it as it can make you sick. All drugs have long lists of side effects as they have to list every side effect someone as suffered, even if only one person as had it. The side effect you listed would be rare and your health anxiety would make you feel more anxious. I cannot tell you to take them but put it into perspective and decide for yourself. Hope this helps.

Elizabeth.

I read your post and I have to say I identified with most of it. Over thirty years of anxiety for me. Currently I have back problems which I am personally relating to much more serious stuff , dizzy spell, keep waking in the night and lots of other stuff coming and going. I want to go to my doctors with a list.

Sometimes I wonder am I ruining my life with all this worry, I'm currently getting CBT counselling for HA but it seems to be taking a while to work, five months now anyway as you know you are not alone.
