so i went to the doctors around a month ago as ive been having symptoms of vaginal burning on and off and worried that i have hpv (see other posts for more detail) down there... so i seen a doctor who is quite good and he said it looked all okay just a little inflamed in one area and said sounds like i have vulvodonyia he took a swab from my cervix to rule out any infections ... that all came back clear but im worried what if he missed something or the swab didnt pick it up.. am i being paranoid or ?
where are you experiencing burning? Inside or on the outside skin? How long have you been having burning feelings? Any other symptoms?
If he swabbed your cervix he was swabbing for abnormalities/hpv cells. Did you get bloodwork done? The swab would be looking for High Risk HPV.
its not like i can pin point its just inside and ive had this around 8 months on and off no blood work done just swab and examination has been done
