Am I having heart problems, please help

About a month and a half ago I got a weird pulling pain in my chest, after a little while my left arm felt weird and I felt like I was going to faint, I waited a while and when the symptoms did not go away I went to the hospital. At the hospital I was kept over night, they did an EKG, blood work, chest x-ray and stress test all came back normal and I was sent home and told it might just be anxiety. Since then I have not felt well, I've been to the GI to check for stomach issues ( I have a hiatal hernia and gastritis which im being treated for) to my primary care doc and to a cardiologist who did not run any further test but said because of my age (41) no family history and the results from the hospital he did not believe it was heart related. For the past few days I have been having a weird feeling in my chest left and right side, pain in the center of my back and pain in my jaw mainly right hand side. I've been to the hospital a total of 3 times and all ekgs have cone back normal my last trip to the er was July 18th I don't know if I should go back, I had a terrible headache today and throwing up and the pain in my jaw keeps shooting to my head and makes me dizzy when it does.

Have you been treated for any infections in the last few months?

No i haven't been treated for any infections.

Have u been to a cardiovascular Dr?

Hi Charlene, No I haven't, its not something I've thought of maybe I'll talk to my primary care physician about it as I have an appointment with him tomorrow.

Jenny, I hope you have been getting some insight. Could this be caused by stress? If you have having a very busy lifestyle or you are worried / anxious about the past or present, I can storngly recommend Mindfulness meditations (MBSR = Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction has been proven to have medically mesurable health benefits? Do look into it. Good luck

Hi Vincent, I believe that at this point anxiety definitely has played a roll in all of this. I will look into MBSR, thank you for recommendation.

I had the same issue and the doctors kept sending me home after years my symptoms got worse so they did a echocardio test and they found I had sever mitral valve regurgitation and I had to have open heart surgery they were going to replace it but repaired instead. Now 6 months later I'm having the symptoms again. If I was you I would see if they would do further testing cause I ended up with heart failure and they also kept sending me home saying it was anxiety. Good luck

Hi Marcia, Before the echocardio had the doctors performed any other tests on you? EKG, stress test, chest xray. Thats very scary that you had symptoms for so long before they found the problem. I'm sorry that you are having symptoms again, I hope you get better soon.

Yep everything was normal all my test. Did they ever say they heard a heart murmur they trying saying it was innocent but it wasn't

They've never said that they hear a murmur on me, I will definitely keep on top of this until I feel better and the doctors figure out what's wrong.

Only one doctor heard it and the others did not you need to be checked

I will have to find another cardiologist, the last one I went to did a stress test and said everything was fine and would not do any further testing.

I kept going through the same thing over and over again it is shame how you have to keep on these doctors.

I hear u! I've been going through this for 10 years n sometimes I jus want to quit ! Between the pain,n costs it jus too much too much!

Please d get checked out by a another Cardiologist cause it could be minor but it could be something else! BETTER TO B SAFER,THAN SORRY! JUS MY OPINION!

Did you get anything done or find out anything?
