Hello, I've got a lab result as follows:
TSH: 4.92 <0.27; 4.2>
fT4: 13.83 <12; 22>
fT3: 3.58 <3.1; 6.8>
I initially thought is fine, but got a reference it is not. So, I'd like to get another knowledgeable opinion. Thank in advance.
That is borderline hypothyroid. What are your symptoms?
the only thing i can add to this is that that my TSH is on the lower end of norm and i am hyperactive. My TSH result...... 0.173 ...... ( norm 0.270 - 4.2 ).according to my scale. .. my T4 is on the higher end of scale ie 26.30. ( norm 12 -22 ) . Hyperactive.. yours seems to be lowish even borderline. but your TSH is higher end (even gone over ). Comparing both I am overactive ( underactive for 25 years ) and it would appear you are underactive. I am not a medical person but you check the figures. There is no record on mine of T3
