[quote:710d651d30=\"bigmummy\"]Hi, I have been on these tabs for a week now, and have been sooooo good....
I have exercised every other day to a good sweat, and eaten low fat meals all week.
In fact, I have only eaten about 15-25g of fat per day, and no more than 15g per meal. Actually i've rarely got about 10 in any one meal! and about 13-1400 calories a day max.
Just weighed myself and i've only lost just one pound, and I am so disappointed i could cry.
I have done WW and SW before and normally on my first week of being good, i have lost anything between 4-8 pound, never anything less!
I just feel like all the hard work has been pointless now
I'm just feeling like giving up already, as i feel so disheartened with such a slow start

I didn't seem to lose any weight the first week but have been back to the nurse today, my 14th day, and have actually lost 6lbs, to be honest think the snow helped as have had to do a lot more walking than normal.
I told the nurse I was surprised as certainly didn't feel like I had lost any weight and she, as some else has already said, said that it is probably just fluid that I have lost at the moment.
I also told her that I didn't think I was eating enough fat but she said any fat I did take in would be affected by the tablets and as the weight has shifted to carry on and go back in 2 weeks.
I personally, as prescribed the tablets by the doctor, am not going to take much notice of my scales, Wii fit at home and only go by the weigh in's at the doctor's as all scales have a variance in them. Also as the GP prescribed I feel it is their duty to help me on this weight loss programme and keep updated records on how I and my body are doing. Nurse will keep a check on my blood pressure and I intend to go fortnightly to be weighed and discuss diet and any problems I may have.
Give yourself and your body a chance to get used to the diet change and make an appt to see your surgeries nurse for help, information and encouragement
