ANA test positive

Just wanna get some feedback on this new to me thanks

Have you been given a diagnosis?

A positive ANA on its own does not automatically mean you have an autoimmune disease.

A clinician would also diagnose by examining you and looking at your symptoms.

I have a positive ANA of scl70, but also had a Rheumatologist examine me to diagnose systemic sclerosis.

Hi. Think this almost certainly means auto immine diseaae. Presumably you have symptoms and that's the reason you had the test done. But you will need follow up with a specialist to determine what sort of disorder you have. Who is managing your treatment?

Just had bloodwork done this past week so I have not seen a specialist yet . My RF was also <14 as well

I was tested mainly cause my platelets were low

ok you will need follow up. But if you don't have any symptoms then that's fine. Heard of people having these kind of readings but not having any symptoms of illness....or maybe you were. Not sure from your posting.

Only thing I have are aches all over body upper chest area mostly just had gallbladder removed and liver enzymes were also high but have been going down the past month

Ok yes all symptoms of ai disorders. Just need to pinpoint which one and get proper treatment x
