I just found out I have herpes today. It is mostly inside anus
I have never experienced such extreme pain as I do while going to the bathroom. I cannot go without crying. I have no idea what to do. Is there a pain medication for this? Should I just stop eating until they clear up? It's really awful
U gotta go to the Doctor STAT! If U can call him-if you've already been-Have him call U in some Lidocaine 4% Jelly. U can only get it via Rx. God I hope this helps U.
The last reply is good! I would say try to eat food that goes through easier, and baking soda bath may help with the pain some. Even though people say it's great, DO NOT apply baking soda directly to open sores, it is very very painful. Be very kind and patient with yourself, you can get through this! It's not uncommon and seeing a doctor to get medicated gel will help ease the pain. If you can't, it may help to try rash ointments that say "pain relief" but depending on how your sores are, it could burn. Since many sores are often open, it's best to treat them like wounds and clean as best you can so they can heal and close, then cover in ointment.
I totally agree with Ap1999-DO NOT put baking soda directly on you. I did-stupidly & it set me on FIRE. I think i cried for 2 hours! I wish u much luck & will be praying for you.
