Not sure if I have hemorrhoids or herpes. Saw what looked like a anal fissure, have been having pellet stool with bleeding.
Do you have herpes? If so, what type?
I experienced something similar and reckon it was related to a recurrence. Never had that issue before (blood with #2) until herpes, but only the one time so far.

You can test for it. If you've been having these symptoms for over 3 months, then the IgG blood test is fine, otherwise get the next fissure/tear looked at. The doctor can take a swab. PCR (DNA) swabs are much more accurate than viral culture swabs. If you test, make sure your tests are HSV type-specific.
Hi again. I also have it right now. How long has yours lasted? I don't feel any pain, but the scars are still there and it takes a long time to heal.
The anal fissure? It went away fairly quickly for me and only caused a bit of bleeding the one time, thankfully. No scarring, but then it's rather hard to tell in that location.
I have herpes there. It casued bleeding and a little pain first. Now it doesn't hurt, but it's not going away. I wonder if there is anything else to do apart from taking Valtrex and applying some antiviral cream on it.
I ate stuff to keep things "soft" and it just healed on its own.
