Hi all, 4 days ago i went ahead and got an anal skin tag surgically removed. I had residual skin leftover from hemorrhoids i had during pregnancy. Very little pain however I noticed there's a firm pencil eraser sized bump by the area where the tag was excised. it honestly looks like a hemorrhoid that COULD turn into another anal skin tag. I was told this was just swelling but just wanted to see who else has done this and if the area will heal "flat" once swelling goes down? Will i end up with another skin tag? i really hope not as that would render this surgery useless! Any experience with recovery and swelling with this surgery? was it worth it in the end?
