i have had various issues down below for years. constant piles and a couple of tears. i feel like im troubleshooting all the time. Ive been ok for a couple of months but the last 2 days ive had fresh blood on bowel movements and my motion is very thin. im a little sore but not like if there was a tear. i can not feel any piles. my question is can skin tags bleed as i have quite a sizeable one i would be grateful for any advise

I have had haemorrids and a haemorridectomy (operation to have them surgically removed)
My experience is that skin tags do not bleed. If you do see blood, it is either the haemorrhoid or a tear i.e anal fissure.
You could have an internal haemorrhoid which may not be visible to you. Main thing is not to strain on the toilet - you can buy Movicol sachets over the counter if your in the UK to ensure bowel movements are soft.
You should book to see your GP who can check this out for you, and then if needs be refer you to a colorectcal specalist. Its best to get it looked at and sorted. The operation for me was a huge success.
