Has anyone heard of Ankylosing Spondylitis or has this diagnosis along with their fibermyalgia?
My next door neighbour had it, otherwise I would never of heard of it. Eventually she found it difficult to travel long distances, go up and down stairs and had to have a walk in shower, but by then she was in her late seventies and had been diagnosed with it for over thirty years. She originally thought she'd injured her back looking after her late mother, so didn't do anything about her back pain for a long time.
I have had Anky Spond for over 30yrs & was diagnosed with Fibro 2yrs ago, although I reckon I had it long before then.
Ive was diagnosed when i was 12 with rheumatoid arthritis- and this year i have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and anklyoising spondalitous!
