Well i think ive drained all my tears now as ive done nothing else but cry since the fire on sunday plus lauras injury on tuesday. Today insurance company told me my beloved car will be scrapped yes i know its a car however its my freedom or was...
anyway im now waiting for settlement team to call me then i can think what i will do...i was informed that the car was too badly damaged to ever fnd out what exactly happened....thank god we were not in car!!

Had physio today and i will have hydro in the next few weeks...movement in left hip/leg isnt as good as it should be. physio couldnt believe i was never offered any physio after discharge

Very sorry to hear all these troubles, Dee.....
One thing though is that with the physio, you will start to get better movement - it'll get better not worse, even if you do end up being a bit stiff/sore after the sessions. So you have to hope that the hip at least has good scope to feel better, even if the blessed insurance company end up being a pain (hope they won't be, never easy to know).

Hi Dee, First of all ((((((((hugs)))))))). I know exactly how you feel and it might only be a car but it's YOUR car. I had mine written off two weeks ago she was Ford Fiesta 16 years old but I had had her from new. Luckily I managed to drop on another car, different make and model and automatic. You have had a lot to contend with this last week and I hope your daughter is getting better. Things will improve you'll see, it might take a bit of time but you'll get there. IN the meantime please vent all you want, if you don't want to put it live pm me I will listen, it's better out than in. Love Gill xxxxx

i am looking forward to physio/hydro ive known for a while left hip wasnt as good as right but no one would listen, it was my back consultant who made the referral for me. insurance company havent been too bad had a rough start with them on sunday but after shouting at them on monday things have moved along quick and the claim should be closed by next week

Glad ive found someone who understand re car everyone kept saying to me its just a car not understanding its my freedom, after my car accident in 2007 i brought my car and it helped me healed from accident as i was having bad flashbacks and gave me some enjoyment in driving again.
Laura is in so much pain from her fall in work, she went into work today but felt awful at present laying on sofa

Hi Denise I do feel for you.Ijust lost a wing mirror from my car and felt awful. Look on the bright side when you can soon you will be able to look for a new car and hopefully you will regain your freedom I hope your daughter is feeling better also that your physio goes well. Thinking about you both x
Very sorry you are going through all this Denise.
But think of it this way. At least the car is replaceable. Just think what would have happened if it had happened with you or any of your famnily in the car at the time it went up in flames. At least you were not driving it. Thin k of it as a good bit of luck instead of negative, I hope your daughte heals quick and well.No one deserves all this on top of everything you have been through. I hope it won't be long before you have your wheels back You will enjoy the hydrotherapy. I can't wait till I start mine. I get assessed on 3rd August and then find out when my hydrotherapy starts.
Oh Dee, so sorry to hear of your distress. I hope you have some good friends close by who can support you. The hydrotherapy will be good, I'm starting Tuesday and looking forward to it.
Life can be very testing at times, hold on to the future being great as you recoup and get back on your feet.
